Right as most of you know ive got the evo up for sale as im looking to buy a flat & running a house & a evo is not friendly to my pocket if i want to have a life outside the flat.

So anyway im looking at getting something still fast but non turbo'd.

Im realy taking by a 306 gti-6 as there nice looking inside & out & a shed load cheeper to run then the evo. (ill have another soon)

Anyway im looking to see if there is any bad point on these cars i have a mate that had one from new & kept it for 6 years & only had air con probs with it.

Anyway any info on them would be good.

Cheers aj

worst thing on the gti 6 is the rear axel , as they are all gettin on , could b a costly repair

exactly what i was gonna say, the axle is about the only thing i get asked about in work, make sure they arent corroded or "bouncy", other than that they are sound cars and servicing is about the only maintenance you should need (bout 25 quid for the filters and plugs)

Cool.

Ive had a look at a few other cars. Seen a nice e36 328i & thought about a wee saxo again but that was so i could get in to doing track days & just for farting about in.

I only do about 4k or so a year. The vts seems the best money wise till i get back on my feet & things sorted in this flat.

Tell me about it.

There really is nowhere you can go but down after owning a evo or a scoob cse going up means a super car & i aint got the money for that.

Think its going to be something small for now.

Na mate not really want to spend 8k on a car when im looking to save money for this flat.

Think it will be about the 2k or 2 & a half at a push.
