it was in the paper ages ago that unmarked performance cars were hunting down people who break the speed limits by doing it themselves and making the drivers race the police then charge them

they herd they used ta do it up the town

they actually did do tht to ma mate wee dani.
he had an old sabb 900 carlson...pretty much standard..but big massive turbo on it.
on the way home about 1.30 in the morn..the traffic were in an unmarked sittin up his arse...
he ws doin 70..they over took him then slowed down again...then done the same thing and sat up his arse...again.

he put the boot down...they chased him and an hour later turned up at his door..same two guys and there opening remark was..''you in a hurry?''

basically they provoked it by intimidatin him and harassin him into racing away
and what he got out of it was his name and face in the paper(daily record)...200 or 300 quid fine.. for a year and made to resit his test.
